Now I should in an hour finish an edit of a Tucznak’s documentary about the visit of The Dad in Prague two years ago. It rests on my HD for more than two months. Let’s see what happens today. Glass music spins me round like a record baby.
Published November 28, 2009 film , music Leave a CommentToday I am searching for some classical stuff suiting a documentary about glass-makers from North Bohemia. Jirka Málek did the pictures and asked me if I can find the right music. So, diving into Dvořák, Beethoven as well as into Milhaud, Varese, Kraftwerk and Philip Glass (how literal!) I am trying to find not completely notorious and burned out piece which would suit a building atmosphere of a giant spinning glass. A ballet of glass-makers. A real 60s-70s Czechoslovakian socialistic movie. Maybe the Einstürzende Neubauten can do the job the best.
I started to upload some music and videos, creating my personal/commercial presentation of what I am doing for living and own entertainment.
Today, when I answered my morning load of emails and chatted a bit with friends on skype and ichat, I set up my twitter account, refreshed my facebook status, posted couple of items for sharing, uploaded new sets to flickr, checked up all profiles and pages of my band, updated my vimeo library and scrobbed some tracks to last.fm. But, I felt completely unsatisfied. I miss my blog. I only do two now and none of them is personal. So I decided to do Martin Destroyer’s very own blog again. And this is the first post. And I am feeling slightly better.
